Our Story

From a Gulf honey house to your Pakistani table

Khalis is not a new name in honey, only a new one in Pakistan. Behind every jar is HoneyBank UAE, the Gulf honey house trusted by more than 20,000 families across the Emirates. This is the same honey, the same standard, finally bottled for home.

One word, the whole promise

Khalis (خالص) means pure — undiluted, honest, nothing hidden. We chose it as the name because it is also the only promise a honey brand should have to make. In a market where most of what is sold as honey has been heated, blended, watered with syrup or stripped of everything that made it honey, being khalis is the whole point. If a jar cannot be pure, it does not carry our name.

HoneyBank — the house behind the jar

Khalis Pure Honey is the Pakistan brand of HoneyBank UAE. For years HoneyBank has been a specialist honey house in the Gulf, sourcing single-origin raw honey from trusted beekeepers, holding it in its own barrels, and serving a community of over 20,000 customers across the Emirates who came back jar after jar.

That trust was not built on marketing. It was built on honey that tasted like the flower it came from, crystallised the way raw honey should, and never pretended to be something it wasn't. When families across Pakistan kept asking for the same jars they'd seen relatives bring back from the Gulf, the answer became obvious.

Why Pakistan, why now

Pakistan has one of the great honey traditions in the world — sidr from the mountains, kalonji from the fields, the desi honey on every dastarkhwan. It also has one of the worst adulteration problems, where a shopper genuinely cannot tell a pure jar from a cooked, syrup-cut one on the shelf.

We didn't want to add another indistinguishable jar to that shelf. We wanted to bring the Gulf standard home — the same sourcing, the same barrels, the same refusal to heat or blend, and sell it the honest way: free delivery anywhere in Pakistan, cash on delivery, and a real person on WhatsApp when you have a question.

How we keep it khalis

Every raw jar is never heated and only coarse-strained, so the pollen, enzymes and character stay in. Nothing is added — no glucose syrup, no water, no colour. It is bottled at source and every batch is lab-checked before it ships.

Our six honey & herb blends are cold-mixed in small batches: whole, stone-ground herbs (kalonji, ajwain, saunf, ginger and the rest) folded into raw honey at room temperature so both the honey and the herbs keep their character. Nothing is ever cooked into sameness. If you want to judge any honey for yourself, we wrote an honest guide to purity tests that will also tell you when a test is a myth.

The dastarkhwan

Honey, to us, belongs to the table — the dastarkhwan where chai is poured, paratha is torn, and a spoon of honey ends the meal. That is the world every Khalis jar is made for: warm, generous, unhurried, and real. Seventeen jars, one word.
